I would say it's more likely a Mahindra jeep of some sorts. |

Not a CJ8 too short in the rear. Not a US model. Note the straight slits in the grille, no curve around the headlights. Possible Mihindra or other export built? |

As much as I want to say it's a CJ-7, I have to agree with both of you that it's a Mahindra. |
