Since it was in episode 4.04, then it should be 1985 model year. Hmm... could this be Illinois Dealer plate? Nahh... it could be fake. |

The plate is fake, but it's not a fake dealer plate. In fact, it's slightly anachronistic. Illinois did use the AB1234 (two-letter, four-number) format on standard plates. It should look like these plates: Rather than this one: A dealer plate would have "DL" vertically on the left, "LAND OF LINCOLN" on the top, and "19 ILLINOIS 85" on the bottom. -- Last edit: 2012-02-11 05:52:13 |

Thanks, APS221. I used to live in Illinois and I have not been up there for a quite while... It is coming back to my memory The AB 1234 series was used up to the nineties. My old one has "RP 5205". |
