Additional image: Police cars are from the fictional Bay City (CA) Police Department. Additional images from Ep. 1.05: It looks like one of the same blue and white cars is used a taxi. Note: The scene with the blue and white taxi takes place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The cars have 1974 Minnesota license plates. 1.06: 1.03: -- Last edit: 2010-01-30 20:05:07 (garco) |

Funny, the paint job looks almost like the Chicago Police of the era! -- Last edit: 2010-02-26 14:44:11 (antp) |

I wonder if these are actual former Chicago Police cars that were bought by a rental production company for use in films? The cars have the driver side spot light mounted in the fender instead of the A pillar which was how Chicago PD mounted the spotlights at the time. |

Odd. How do they swivel the lamp with it mounted on the fender? |

There is a lever inside connected to the spotlamp that allows it to be manually positioned. |
