Coupe seems a little unecessary 2000-2002 |

2002 was the first year for the yellow paint. I think this may be an LS Sport model over a Z24. |

The Cavalier never had yellow as a paint option nor did the trim LS Sport exist from 2000-02. 2002 offered that kind of spoiler through the GM Official Website as custom additions per the 2002 official brochure Link to "www.ebay.com" It looks like 2002 was the first year to offer that so the year is fine but not the trim. The closest yellow color the Cavalier got in 2002 was Mayan Gold Metallic but that is not the same color. Well let me stop myself for a minute. GTCARLOT does list yellow models in 2002 only so it must have been a late addition that never made it into the official brochures. However, despite the GTCARLOT listing, LS Sport doesn't appear in the trim levels at all. Which one do we trust? -- Last edit: 2019-07-28 18:53:07 |

Sport was more an appearance package to the LS than a trim level looks like there was.. it looks like it took somehow the Z24's place in the brochure, they say its not ready for beginning of production and ask dealer for details, yellow must be one of those details still liked it more when it was called Z24 -- Last edit: 2019-07-28 20:04:14 |

By the wheels and trunk lid badge (lack there of) this is a Z24. Looking up the two trims and looking at the 2002 brochure distinguished this: Link to "www.motorologist.com" The LS Sport for 2002 has different wheels and on the trunk lid after Cavalier we would see a space and a badge. There isn’t a badge next to Cavalier and in combination with the Z24 wheels I will change the listing. |
