I'd say a Brazilian Willys 2600. The model was introduced in 1963, but back then it had different tailfins and lights. Edit: and the later Itamaraty also had different taillights ![]() -- Last edit: 2009-12-31 14:22:03 |

It could be early 1963+ Aero-Willys 2600 with later (1968+) bumper.![]() * * * I thought about Simca Esplanada. Similar but doesn't fit. -- Last edit: 2009-12-31 15:29:56 |

There's some badge on trunk lid. Looks same shape (without "2600"), here on rear fender: Link to "lh5.ggpht.com" |

This car is not a 63, it is a 65/66 model. The rear end was changed these years. The 63 model is the one pictured in 130rapid's post above. I have a 66 Aero. It was quite nice to see the car appearing in this movie. A nice touch: Brazilian license plates now uses 3 letters and 4 numbers since the mid 90's. The license plate on this car is an old one used between the 60's and mid 90's. They were very careful to reproduce a license plate to illustrate the right time period of the scene |
