Model is 1989-92. Car is either Base or L. Can't remember them selling many Base models. |

It can't. Opel was not officially sold in the UK, and Vauxhall was not sold in Germany or anywhere else in Europe officially -- Last edit: 2012-01-27 10:38:17 |

it's a rebadged Opel sold as Vauxhall in the UK. That's why it should be listed as Origin Germany, made for GB. The other three facts you've stated are also incorrect. The Vauxhall Chevette was the only Vauxhall sold on the West German market, most Opels were sold in the UK until the 1980s, and Vauxhalls sold in large numbers all over the European continent until the 1970s. At one point, Vauxhall was as popular as Opel in my country (Norway). -- Last edit: 2012-01-27 11:30:30 |

Correcting previous incorrect comment, this is a rare 4x4 Cavalier by the badge between the plate and the left taillight. Could be G287OUE from another Granada production: /vehicle_689339-Vauxhall-Cavalier-1990.html#Comment2779035 |
