This is no real Kübelwagen-version, it looks like a rolling chassis with a selfmade "body". |

Actually, it is; this is a pre-war model Kübelwagen. The early ones looked just like this one, without doors. The later models were fitted with doors. Examples 1934 MB 260 Kübel: http://www.autogallery.org.ru/k/m/mbo2331.jpg 1933 MB 290 Kübel: http://www.autogallery.org.ru/k/m/mbo2932.jpg |

Oh, I haven't known that, interesting. Then it's a car from the "Reichswehr", not from the Wehrmacht" |

genuine WW2 German Kfz1 on a pre War Mercedes Benz 170 chassis. along with BMW the Kfz1 chassis was the standard light personnel car of the Reichswehr..19,000 Kfz1 models were built on the Mercedes 170 chassis from 1938 to 1942 when phased out by the Kubelwagen. In its size class the Mercedes 170 Kfz1"s production was second only to the VW Kubelwagen. |

Put "Kübelwagen" in extra info like we did for the Wanderer 901 in Valkyrie, unless anyone objects. |
