I guess it's a 1961 Imperial. TBC. |

1963 Imperial, probably a LeBaron. |

The non-split grill rules out 1962, and the fine mesh and lack of a large eagle in the middle point towards 1961. I think I can see fins at the back. I'd say about 85% sure it's a 1961 Crown or Southhampton. The LeBaron has a smaller rear window, and that one wraps around. |

It is a 63 Imperial, since it has a hood ornament and lacks the square cutout in the grille that housed the Imperial mascot on the 61s. And believe me, if this was a 61, you would be absolutely positive about the fins! They reach two thirds up the window height and would be clearly visible in this shot. With the last four-door sedans built in 1960, ALL solid top 1961-63 Imperials are Southamptons (apart from the ultra-rare Ghia Limos). I can see through the rear window adjacent the c-pillar, so this is NOT a LeBaron, which would have the mail slot backlight. This is a 1963 Imperial Southampton and it is impossible to tell if it's a Custom or Crown from this photo. |
