This is an 1979+ Ital fitted with a Marina Mk3 grille and lights. Not really. The Ital seemed to be in quite a bad state, and the Lancia film was superb, so I didn't really cared. And, neither the Marina Owners nor the Final Gear forum seem to be really bothered. Plus, that extra piano protected the Ital a bit! -- Last edit: 2009-12-02 15:17:06 |

It was launched in June 1980, but I read somewhere that its full range was only available to the public from October of the same year (NEC Motor Show) for the 1981MY. I think this was a common procedure by then. -- Last edit: 2012-11-07 03:26:30 |

This is a 1979 Morris Marina. 1980 was the last year for the Marina. The Morris Ital didn't come out until July 1980 for the 1981 model. |

Looks like Marinas have become such a scarce resource after so many piano drops that they've had to resort to retrofitting Itals to look like Marinas. |
