correct on it being a Peterbilt 281, but this truck is newer than a 1960, infact I can list on the top of my head that this truck is a 1964 Peterbilt 281, because if this truck were a 1960, it would have smaller rounded windshields that are flat, this truck has taller more square & pushed out windshields which tells me this truck is a 1964 Peterbilt 281, Here are a couple of links below to show that this truck is a 1964 Peterbilt 281 http://www.truckpaper.com/images/Truck/fullsize/79164657.jpg http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/dean_docter/66_pb_281_2.jpg http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/dean_docter/64_pb280_cowling.jpg Link to "www.hankstruckpictures.com" http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/pnwtm/2003/pb/dscn5164.jpg http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/pnwtm/2003/pb/dscn5311.jpg http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/pnwtm/2003/pb/dscn5305.jpg below are a couple of links to the surviving Duel Truck which is a 1960 Peterbilt 281, you can the difference's in there cab's Link to "4.bp.blogspot.com" http://www.stlouisdumptrucks.com/Duel/sitebuilder/images/DUELRIG11-683x510.png http://felipebitu.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/3_petes_2-957x695.jpg |

The rubber windshield gaskets are thicker on older models as well. |
