This has the same number plate as these cars from Top Gear: /vehicle_242204-Jaguar-XJ6-XJ40-1993.html & /vehicle_238912-Jaguar-XJ6-XJ40-1993.html, so it may well be the same car again. Also, seeing as the bike rides over the car, wouldn't it be a 2 star. |

I did think that, so i guess your right. And im guessing that since this was a dvd, this was filmed first, then seen in the scirocco segment on top gear, and then finally destroyed in clarkson's top gear militarty chase |

FIG 7399 was re-taxed for another year for road use before September 2009 after the listing here /vehicle_242204-Jaguar-XJ6-XJ40-1993.html August Listing on DVLA The vehicle details for FIG 7399 are: Date of Liability 01 06 2009 Date of First Registration 13 12 1993 Year of Manufacture 1993 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 3239CC Current November Listing The vehicle details for FIG 7399 are: Date of Liability 01 09 2010 Date of First Registration 13 12 1993 Year of Manufacture 1993 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 3239CC It suggests to me there is an XJ40 in roadworthy condition and other similar scrap-condition cars they use for the destruction scenes and the same number-plate is used for filming purposes? -- Last edit: 2009-11-29 14:04:53 |
