I think it is 1937 Packard 120C. Senior Packards had longer headlights and flatter cooler grill, so this is a junior 120C. But the top-mounted triple wiper is unusual on this model - Packards came out with bottom-mounted wipers. Maybe this is a special coachbuilt version. |

Maybe pilou or nzcarnerd can confirm. |

1937 Packard Eight ( fifteenth series Model 120 C built september 1936 to september 1937).It has a semi custom Town Car body with opening driver\'s compartment, probably by Franay of Paris as appearing from side view .Although I do not have documents on this car, there are pictures of later realisations by Franay on sixteenth and seventeenth Super Eight chassis showing 3 parallel wipers albeit cowl mounted.I also found a picture of a Franay convertible coupe body on a sixteenth series eight chassis showing the odd oval light placed on the side of the front fender top , probably to comply with lighting requirements of the Service des Mines. .US Packards had antiparallel cowl-mounted wipers. |

I think there was only one Franay coachbuilder, so no need to use the English 'of Paris' as part of the name. |

A splendid car, it's a pity we can't see much of it |
