Best guess, it might be a 1945 Ford. If not, it's a 1942 model that was lucky enough to escape WW2 rationing. |

I think its a '41. I'm goin by the signal light on top of the front fender. That light got moved in between the headlight and the grille on later years. |

I was going by the split-grille which was a lot flatter between the fenders than in 1941. |

Thus proving that the car above is NOT a 1941 Ford. Right now I'm having trouble finding a pic of a 1942/45 Ford, unless it's a truck, tractor, or something else that somebody mistakenly called a 1942/45 Ford. |

I found some links to pics of both '41 and '42 Fords. I still vote for the '41, but it is hard to tell. The top of the lower grille halves are much lower on a '41. In '42, they are almost at headlight level. I'll leave it up to you folks to figure it out. 1941 http://www.americandreamcars.com/1941ford022a010905.htm http://www.1motormart.com/gallery/41ford01.jpg 1942 http://www.gohotrods.com/46ford/harolds42.htm http://www.1motormart.com/gallery/42ford01.jpg |
