johnfromstaffs ◊ 2009-11-23 09:54	This could be a good source of discussion. There is a certain Fordishness about it, but four doors, no rear windows behind the back door, and a boot bustle don't add up. It might be a 1936 Ford V8-60, but that is clutching at a straw.
pilou ◊ 2009-11-23 11:04	Clutching at my straw what I see here is indeed a 1936 (British) Ford model 62 V8 22hp RAC .It was powered by the 2.2 litre V8 developing 60 real hp. .What you see as a boot bustle could simply be the open boot lid on which the spare wheel was mounted.The 1936 model 68 30 hp RAC with the US body had a straight and not a sloping beltline at the rear.

There was no entry to the boot from outside, just the spare wheel cover on back which sloped from half way down.
