I think rather a Mitsubishi Pajero. For a Mercedes G the shape doesn't fit - but the rust indeed. A friend, who is busy with early G-Models, confirms it. Sorry, movie star, if I say something bad about Austrian made things, but my friend says, that at the early G's Steyr could hold the Mercedes-quality-standard. These cars aren't worth to wear the Mercedes-logo, he said. |

You mean they could NOT hold the standard and no problem it is ok (kein wunder dass wir kaum autos bauen wir habens halt nicht drauf ) |

7300 € hätte er kosten sollen, aber es ging nur um die Schilder. Die haben wir dann auch ohne Auto bekommen können. Für einen Tausender. |

As far as the off-roader is concerned: Due to the grey plastic grille, the lights and the shape of the hood/Bonnet: Could it be a 1980+ Nissan Patrol as well? |

With these round headlights it was still badged Datsun as far as I know, but yes it's a Patrol indeed. |
