This looks like a fire truck factory, and all three look incredibly similar. -- Last edit: 2009-11-01 02:01:09 |

What was "quint" for? |

"Quint" is the name that is given to a fire truck that has five functions in one truck - Pump, Water Tank, Fire hose, Aerial Device and Ground Ladders. Small ladder trucks like this one (and others with a 75-foot ladder) may be identified as such depending on the fire department. Larger ladder trucks could (by definition) be identified as a Quint, but are usually identified as just "Ladder." Trucks, or truck companies are ladders that don't have pumps or water tanks. |
