1936+. I believe it is more a conduite intérieure than a familiale. The Rhodoïd registration plate wasn't use and they put a classic one on the bumper. For mandatory reasons? |

Originally (well, in France at elast) the white part above the spare wheel, between the rear lights, was painted black, except for the letters and numbers. There was a light behind it, so at night you could see the lightened characters. In many countries such 'self-made' license plates weren't allowed, and these dark Polish plates all seem to have a standard shape and size. I'm surprised that the plate doesn't seem to have a light, and that it wasn't placed in the middle... |

It also could be, that the regulations in this case weren't very restrictive, so everyone decided how he want to place its plates. |
