The correct spelling of this brand is with "ż" at the end = PZInż.

Unfortunately it also had its weight. ;) Oh I see that it works with "ż" normally it was not possible to open page with this kind of letters.

Still for such make it is better that I had special handling to remove special characters in URLs - when you add such new make it is still better to notify me ;)

Thank's for the link Jale. Does it said these buses were powered by Saurer? I guess yes.

They were built on the chassis and with the engine of the Polish made "Polski Saurer". Some trucks and buses based on these license Swiss components were called "Polski Saurer", but this one had the name of the plant (PZInż meant Państwowe Zakłady Inżynierii - State Engineering Works). With this body they made 18 buses for Warsaw and nearly all has been destroyed during the war. After the war it was possible to start engine only of one, but still it was in so bad condition that soon has been scrapped.

Yeah - Swiss Saurer BLD (ACRO-Diesel system), just like in the 6-ton 4BLDP buses, we had them too (we signed a large deal). That website says 110HP for those Zawrat buses, sounds more like BLDb engine version improved by PZInż. and used also in 7TP tanks.
