I'm pretty sure this is no Excalibur. There were several coachbuilders offering this kind of neo classic limousines (New York Custom Coach, Elegante Coachworks, Showtime Custom Coach, Tiffany Coachbuilders etc.) and nobody knows why they did. It seems like this one started out as a Lincoln Town Car, which was pretty common in the making of these bastards. Coachbuilder is not identifyable though.

It's identical to this one, identified as an Excalibur: http://www.flickr.com/photos/iowahawk_blog/2616476368/sizes/o/ Or is "Excalibur" being used in the generic sense?

By the way, these limos can be made tackier (do not click if you value your eyeballs): http://www.limos4sale.co.uk/limo_pics/large/3277_1.jpg

Yes, exactly this is what mostly happens, as the Excalibur is by far the best known neo classic car out there. It's the same like any undefined off-road vehicle gets accused of being a Jeep and every Cadillac without a steel roof is named Eldorado. ;)

Here's a genuine Excalibur limo /vehicle_63597-Excalibur-Series-III.html and the golden thingy you posted seems to be another one, as far as I can spot. (No worries about my eyeballs - my glasses are strong enough :D )
