It looks familiar. Suzuki Carry or Daihatsu pickup? |
◊ 2010-05-07 01:48 |
Or a Chinese clone of one of the above. |

This is a six wheels truck (or ten wheels truck?). I think it is larger than Suzuki or Daihatsu. I think it is a clone of Isuzu truck or another truck. -- Last edit: 2010-05-07 09:27:04 |

I hadn't noticed the wheels In that case it must be something like a Nissan Cabstart or Toyota. At least the design is of Japanese origin even if it wasn't built there. |

The shapes of the mirror support, front window, rear lights, front wheel body shape look like of an older version of the Hyundai Porter Maybe something like this: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:20101003_hyundai_porter_1.jpg And probably made in/for China (even rebadged: the logo on the mud flaps, third rear light) -- Last edit: 2010-12-30 00:18:32 |

I know it's not Hyundai because it's rare to see Korean-only cars in China. The script on the back is also in Chinese, so it must be indeed a clone/rebadged version. |

@petacchi: The Porter you linked to is itself a licensed clone of the Mitsubishi Delica/L300. So this might be a Soueast. They're Mitsubishi's partner in China and make the Delica: /vehicle_254094-Soueast-Delica.html |

I also wanted to say that the logo on the mudflaps looks like Soueast. |
-- ◊ 2010-12-30 02:14 |
But there is one more problem: Soueast didn't produce any pickup trucks. |

It is a Foton/Fukuda micro truck of around 2001 The Internet is a wonder http://www.cn2che.com/sellcarinfo_637623.html http://www.china2car.com/carprice/TuPianXiangXi/usersell.aspx?picid=321728 http://tangshan.taotaocar.com/html_car2009/104546.html More photos of this car: Link to "www.google.com.hk" More links of this car: http://nanning.baixing.com/ershoukache/a74941005.html http://jiangmen.baixing.com/ershoukache/a72287722.html http://tj.58.com/ershouche/3393343340419x.shtml http://xt.58.com/ershouche/3114914807171x.shtml http://xt.58.com/ershouche/3573334059905x.shtml http://fl.fzbm.com/car/566091.htm |

How about a view of the rear badge, does the size and position match? By the way, we have another similar truck here: /vehicle_307282-BLAC-BJ-1305.html |
◊ 2010-12-31 02:17 |
So it is an L300 clone. |

You can try this: http://pic.cn2che.com/car/preview_big/2009-7-29/200972914434773499.jpg (The link on the site doesn't work but if we take it logically we can see the large photo.) |

Agree, thank you for the research. Now we need a model name. |
◊ 2011-04-30 14:46 |
We should change this one to BLAC BJ1028, because the rear looks very much identical with the other similar one: /vehicle_307282-BLAC-BJ-1305.html Google search results returned closer designs for 1028 than for the other model numbers suggested in the comment from there. See this: http://img211.imageshack.us/i/20101115191742.jpg/ BLAC stands for Beijing Light Automobile Company and they've built light trucks until 2002 when they went bankrupt, according to Wikipedia. |
