They basically were first commissioned for use at Sydney Olympic venues before being put into general use after the Olympics finished, however this livery with the red/white chequer board and hi-vis yellow highlights was not brought in until later (about 2003 I think) -- Last edit: 2009-10-16 07:38:49

Sprinters were used by NSW Ambulance from 2000 onwards. They basically were first commissioned for use at Sydney Olympic venues before being put into general use after the Olympics finished, however this livery with the red/white chequer board and hi-vis yellow highlights was not brought in until later (about 2003 I think)
