I would say either 1929 or 1930.

I Guess This Should Just Be Listed as a 1929 Packard :)

Upon closer inspection, I believe 1929 can be eliminated: no "knobs" over the headlamps and no fender-mounted parking lamps. But add 1931 as also a possible year, although the wheel centers look more like 1930.
I would go with 1930 as year listing pending comment from a period Packard expert.

Then might it just be listed as a Packard :)

Well, I would vote for "1930 Packard" pending further information.

It is a 1930 Packard big eight Sport Phaeton - but whether it is a series 740 Custom Eight or a series 745 Deluxe Eight, I don't know.

I go for a 1930 Packard Big Eight Custom Sport Phaeton on the 140 1/2 " wheelbase( Seventh series model 740 build august 1929 to august 1930). The DeLuxe series 745 with a wheelbase of 145 1/2 " would appear longer. Seventh series Big Eight Phaetons still had a low windshield that would be raised one inch on the eight series.

Thanks, Pilou.
This car is a nice classic addition to our collection.
