The license plate number is too new to appear in smog records so it's probably an 06-07 Escape XLT model, assuming the plate is legitimate. Having seen newer trucks with lower plate numbers, I doubt it's the real plate (and most taxis and police cars in San Francisco come from S&C Ford and have a license plate frame stating that fact). This one is operated by the Town Taxi company. Most of these older Escapes have been replaced by 08-09 Escape Hybrids now. |

U95 in the VIN is a Hybrid Base 2wd. U96 is Hybrid Base 4wd. |
