The ALT had the same grille but well visible door hings on the B-pillar, when the E version came in 1949 (with slightly different grille), the taxi stayed a BLT (no ELT). In the rear background a Rootes group saloon, most probably a Hillman Minx. Won't have been very common in Italy...
