General lines ressembles those of a DKW Sonderklasse Zweisitzer of the mid fifties but this type of roadster body is not a factory one and for me a mystery. Maybe another Japanese-specific realisation? |

I think you are right. personally modified DKW. DKW was imported and some was used as taxi (2door taxi! ![]() And modification & customize were in fashion in 60's. |

In 1952, occupation was ends and car import increased. But foreign currency was tight by compensation of war and import, so the car import was restricted in 1955 again. By this reason, the DKW in Japan are almost 1952-54model (most of them were Limousine and Universal). I think it's based on DKW F89 Meisterklasse (1950-52) or DKW F91 Sonderklasse (1953-55)... |
