BL36453 is an unknown licence plate according to vegvesen.no... Appearantly it was scrapped prior to 1990, or it changed plate (which is very unlikely). Note that most licence plates in these movies are real.

Looks like the same car used in the other shot with English plates - if so it is an MS112.

It's not the same car, but in fact two different MS112's (Yes, it is an MS112). The one in London has a beige interior and of course the steering wheel on the right side, while the one in Oslo has a blue interior and the steering wheel on the left side. The two cars also appear to be in different colours. The one in Oslo is black while the one in London appear to be dark brown.

It doesn't have to have been scrapped prior to 1990, by the way, and I find that somewhat unlikely.
As for it being scrapped prior to 1990, It most likely would've had to have been in an accident of some sort and then scrapped. That is the most likely scenario, as it wouldn't have been a very old car. These cars, even though they rusted quite badly, were well built with a strong separate frame, and they tended to last longer than a lot of the cheaper models.

It might have been scrapped sometime during the 90s, or even early 2000s though. Today, these cars are hard to find in good condition, partly due to the problems with rust and partly due to the fact that few of them were sold.

It would have been interesting to investigate further where this car ended up. Maybe someone in the Toyota Crown club of Norway has the answers. There aren't that many of the MS112 in Norway, so chances are it would be possible to find information about this particular car.

The reason I said 1990 in particular, is because it seems that vegvesen.no doesn't seem to have information on cars that were scrapped before 1990 for some reason. The Cressida seen in Olsenbanden og Data-Harry sprenger verdensbanken was scrapped in 1991, and it was only three years older than the Crown here. But then, the Cressida was way more common and less spectacular than the MS112, at least under the bonnet.
