How did you see that it is a Berline Affaire and not a normal Berline? And why 1954 or '55? I'm interested in the small modification details of the 203 throughout the years. Eric |

The car in the main pic has the new (1954+) gutters that follow the shape of the doors. Older models had gutters as seen in /vehicle_90078-Peugeot-203-1952.html . I guess Sixcyl supposed this to be a Affaires because of the lack of hubcaps, but I think the car has just lost the hubcap of the rear wheel (there seems to be one on the front wheel, cf first thumbnail). If it would have been a Affaires, it should have been a 1954 or 1955 indeed (after that year the Affaires wasn't available anymore), but as a Luxe it could be a 1956 as well (in 1957 they got front indicators). So I'd gor for a 1954-1956 203 Luxe, but I might be wrong. The 203 in the second post of Vilero is a different car: no taxi, sliding roof, aftermarket stoneguards. |
