 But it has chome mirrors and AFAIK the colour "leuchtorange" wasn't any more in the programme in 1976 (except for road-maintenance-cars). The badges on the trunk aren't visible, but when they are from aluminium, it's for sure a 1974/75-car.

Registreringsnummer: JDY034
Fabrikat: VOLKSWAGEN SCIROCCO TS
Chassinummer: 5362028719
I trafik första gången i Sverige: 1976-03-19
Fordonsstatus: Avregistrerad (2000-03-20)

It went to the junkyard 11 years ago. Third digit in the VIN-code is 6 = 1976 modelyear
Probably an early car hence the color and the mirrors.

It was the 28.719 th car of the 1976 MY.
53: type
6: model year
20: plant (so 20 seems to be Karmann in Osnabrück)
28719: running number

Maybe the freaks (http://www.typ53.com/) can find out, around what date the car was built. An original spare part catalogue would help, too (there are the VIN-numbers of the 31.12. of a year and for the date of a special release, like the RHD-version or so noticed)

The code of my car (and my eBay-nick ;) ) is 4832533680, to read
48: K 70
3: 1973
25: Salzgitter
no.33680

I don't think so

I know that some European cars have round headlights and they are not sealed beam headlights like we have in UK, USA, Japan, and etc.

That aren't sealed beam-lamps. They were always forbidden in Sweden (as in Germany, too). They are looking a bit different, because it's H4. Around 1973 Sweden made H4-light mandatory. The H1, as usual in Europe back then (Bilux for sure, too) are forbidden in S since then. At the H4-version of the specific lamps, the lense is positioned a bit different, more over the chromated round frame, so it looks different.

These round lamps itself are the most used size ever. To find in a plenty of cars (Passat I TS,LX, Audi 80 B1, Audi 100 C1, BMW 320, BMW 5 Series, BMW 7 Series, Lada 1500, Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, Fiat 125, Polski Fiat 125 and many many more)
