.....and 1984 -. In fact, if that is a "Continental" nameplate on the RR reflector (behind the lady) it is a 1980 specifically. (In 1981, the "Continental" name was dropped from this body and replaced with "Town Car" which I believe was written on the edge of the trunk lid, if memory serves) |

I always liked the 80-89 Lincolns, especially the early 80's Town Coupes and Mark VI's. Those are really rare now days. I'm glad Lincoln still continue to make traditional big cars. |

Yes. In my opinion, the Lincoln Town Car now stands alone as the last truly American-looking "classic" still being made. |

I dunno what GM and Chrysler are playing at these days. They need to take a leaf out of FoMoCo's book. FoMoCo makes the majority of it's sales on it's "big" vehicles, fuel prices be damned. ![]() |
