Well, they appeared to have mixed wheels, as the center cap appears to be from the W/T Z85 steel wheels (Black plastic center cap), while the wheels themselves appear to be from an LS or LT (which would usually have a silver center cap).

either a lot of people do this with the wheels or it was an option at some point because I have seen 4 or 5 Colorados like this...

Yeah, my dad owns a 2004 Colorado Z85 (with CD player and Automatic transmission, in the same Silver Birch Metallic shown above), and he replaced the standard steel wheels with LS trim wheels, with plans to sandblast the steel wheels and repaint them to put snow tires on for winter. They're currently sitting in the shed behind our house now.

Contrary to what some say about the Colorado (saying that it's not a very good truck), at almost 71,000 miles, it's been very good to us, even though it doesn't get used as often as it used to (because of our 2010 Malibu LS, Imperial Blue Metallic). It's a tough little truck, that will apparently become the new Ford Ranger (oldest on the market, very dependable), with the exception of the available V8, of course.
