CougarTim ◊ 2009-08-21 18:35	LeMans were the higher trim model, and wood typically indicates high trim models when it comes to wagons. Based on that, I'd guess LeMans Safari, but I can't prove my suspicion.
wagonguy ◊ 2014-07-02 01:28	Actually there was no 1968 Pontiac LeMans Safari. The top-of-the-line (wood-paneled) Pontiac wagon for 1968 was the Tempest Safari. The name changed in 1969 to LeMans Safari. They were very similar, but the grille on this wagon clearly indicates it is a 1968 Pontiac Tempest Safari.
