Well, it is kind of dark, but I still think I can read 'Mack' above the grille. |

It does appear to have a 'K' (or a 'C'?) at the end of the logo on the radiator but the word looks to have more than four letters. The truck is some kind of off-highway model from the high clearance and the off-set cab. Perhaps it is a Pacific as suggested. More research to do. |

Surely a Pacific ,perhaps a P 500 ( look the logo on the grille ) http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/clintcampbell/pacific_p500_logger.jpg |

I have to go with Lateef. Does anybody realize that Mack used to make off-highway dump trucks that lots of companies used to convert into prime movers? There were so many companies that did this, Mack started selling them as such. So as much as I'd like to think this is a Pacific logging truck, the lettering over the grille makes me think this is just that kind of Mack, which I think was the M45SX. http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/dpearson.htm Link to "www.hankstruckpictures.com" -- Last edit: 2009-08-25 03:42:18 |
