Probably, should be defaulted to 1991. I cannot find any data for the debut in France (filmed there according to IMDb). First MY in UK was 1991 (June 21st?) and Germany was 1995. Bux48 |

Found! https://www.largus.fr/Kia_Pride.html in France it was introduced 11/1997. So it was one of the countries that had it later, like Italy (6/1997) and Spain (during 1997, can't find the actual month) |

Thank you. I’m updating my list! So this means a 1997 MY and it is toast after 12 years |

You're welcome I believe (but not totally sure) most European countries, except UK, got the Pride between 1995 and 1997. Kia was absent from most European markets before 1993/94. A curiosity, in Italy first Sephias (late 1993/1994) were distributed by Subaru's importer, before Kia set up its own for the Sportage. -- Last edit: 2020-11-11 17:50:17 |

It was filmed in Serbia as well as France. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1247640/locations |

Serbia seems to receive it the same time as Slovakia. Two part sites, I believe are Serbian (searching on google in Serbian with Serbian location) indicate 1990 as the earliest year. I presume now, in error, this is actually Serbia. Link to "www.mojauto.rs" https://www.polovniautomobili.com/auto-oglasi/kia Someone else might be able to verify with better details. For now I’ll revert to 1990. |

I'm thinking that those sites use a default date moreover, Serbia in 1990 was still Jugoslavia and Slovakia was still Czechoslovakia..I would be quite surprised if the Pride reached those countries so early Edit: I realized that I wrote a nonsense thing, thanks Gamer -- Last edit: 2020-11-11 19:48:50 |

A little more complicated Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia 1944-1992, Republic of Yugoslavia 1992-2006, Serbia since 2006. |

If we cannot find concrete evidence on a hard start year I’m not sure where to default. I will see if I can dig up information. Edit: https://www.hankyung.com/news/article/1990043000641 -getting closer. Seems communist countries received the Pride first! -- Last edit: 2020-11-11 21:22:55 |
