The 1980/81 BL brochure for France (the year of introduction) describes it as the 'Austin Metro' throughout. This is despite the badging showing 'miniMetro' on the cars illustrated. Typical British Leyland confusion. http://www.aronline.co.uk/ Variants in France 1000 E, 1000 L, 1000 HLE and 1300 S. By the trim this would be 1000 L or above. |
