The movie was set in 1987. The car pictured is actually owned by my parents. It is a 1988 model in truth and the 2nd one they used on set was a 1987 but I don't believe it ran or ran well at least. So the majority of scenes was my parents' car including the ones pictured on this site. The car was originally silver and painted light blue for the movie and it remains that way today. It works well still and was a daily driver up till recently. It is in fact currently for sale! |
