If it’s a fake, it’s a good one. New North Carolina plates are now all Dark Red numbers and letters (old plates were Carolina Blue, I miss that style ... ) "First In Flight" is in its proper location and color with the Wright brother’s plane on full display just behind. "North Carolina" shown at the bottom with "beach grass" behind and in proper colors. Some new North Carolina plates were printed with WTF, but after realizing what the acronym WTF stands for (What the f**k) the NC DMV had to replace about 10,000 plates. Naturally some thought it was funny. |
