Also has the hidden radio antenna (imbedded into the windshield) versus the crude and unsightly fixed mast radio antenna. Illuminates when lights are turned on, and flashes opposite of the front turn indicator (in the grille) and clustered rear tail lamp indicator. The same as European vehicles (with required third turning indicators) except at that time Chevrolet placed the indicator in front of the fender and not aft like modern vehicles.

Neptune ◊ 2010-09-05 03:56	Not sure why GM did that, but it was a step back in terms of advancement. Most vehicles at that time didn’t have glass embedded hidden antennas. They weren’t common back in 70’s like they are now. Anyway, its clear GM took the cheap route with the fourth generation trucks.

Neptune ◊ 2010-09-13 07:01	Does not appear to have the rectangular emblem (which reads: "Fuel Injection") on the upper driver side of the tailgate. So it’s not likely to be a 1987 model. The engine is likely carbureted. A nice view of the tailgate panel that was standard with the Silverado trim. It’s a one-piece polished real aluminium décor panel (very expensive). It’s for appearance only, not really good for anything.
Ford_Guy ◊ 2010-09-13 07:05	Although this particular truck looks like it's seen better days, you can tell it just needs a little bit of fixing up to be returned to prime condition. I cringed during an episode where men with bats vandalized it and broke its windows.

09Enclave ◊ 2010-12-24 20:06	Tim Riggins RULES! He's probably one of the best characters on the series. Always funny how just about every scene he's holding a beer. Quite the rebel. Love the truck he drives too. It's too bad he's off the show on the current season, but it's the last season.
