The Blitz commercial vehicles were not officially imported. However its almost certain that a few Opel vans were imported for DOT use. It would make economic sense if they were fitted out in the same way as the German Opel rally support vehicles. Use of LHD vans would also not be a problem as the DOT would operate probably in continental Europe as well as the UK. |
