As 223/224 it was known since ca 1968. Before it was 203 or 204 - not possible to tell the difference without the badge.

I read on the FSO page that the 223 arrived in 1964
The 224 was the station wagon
See under:

"In 1960 the M20 became the 201 and two years later the 2.1-litre 4-cylinder engine's power output was increased from 53 bhp @ 3600rpm to 70 bhp @ 4000rpm, resulting in the 202. A sedan version, the 223, of the Warszawa was also put into production in 1964, along with a station wagon version, model 224. Pick-up, ambulance, taxi, and a few other versions were also available, including one with steel wheels for moving on rails (really!)."

Some websites can be very incorrect it seems.
The car on the pic (from the link) is 1957 M-20/200 (at the beginning for a while M-20, but soon renamed to 200). In 1960 indeed the 201 was introduced (easy to recognize by the "Warszawa" lettering on the front wings) and yes in 1962 the 202 with new engine became added (1962 cars can be recognized by the bigger rear lights). Between the 1962 and 1964 both cars were marketed - 201 and 202, and it was already not possible to say which one is which one. In 1964 both were replaced by the sedan 203 with new engine S-21 (from the 202). But soon they found in FSO, that the old engine will be stiil in use for some versions and the 204 with it was introduced. Both cars had identical bodies. Kombi was from 1965 and also it can be a 203 or 204 K(ombi). In 1967/68 all Warszawas were renamed to 224 and 223 due to the protest of Peugeot (name with the "0" in the middle).
