It has -resp. had- trims on the side and metallic paint, so I guess rather Granada than the basic Consul. |

Hmmm... not so sure. In the years 1973-1975 the Consul was (at least in Holland, but I guess in Denmark as well, since British cars were still quite common here) also available in up-market versions. I think Granadas usually had black painted rears, but I'm not sure |

In Denmark the basic versions were sold more, because of the luxoury-tax. This tax was put for example seperately on the luxus-trims of cars. No kidding, I've heard that from Danish K 70-owners. We were wondering, why there were many more standard-K 70 (without the "L"-package and even a plenty of the very rare K 70 S (100 hp-engine, but the basic interior. Total unpopular at all). An extra tax on extra ordered extras, very strange, but a fact. Was such a kind of luxoury-tax existing in Norway, too? |
