Not a 1936 Ford either, the grille are different, the windshield has too steep angle and it has a full steel roof while the ford had pegamoid... But I can't help with the brand on this one unfortunately. |

Maybe it's a '39 Chevy. It's got the grill and headlight arrangement kind of like one. |

Definitely 1938 Studebaker Commander - the base model without the faired-in headlights that the State Commander had. |

1938 Studebaker Commander Six 3 passenger Coupe ( series 7A).The shape of the door is Studebaker. The Studebaker Commander Six was very similar to the State Commander Six ( series 8A) but the headlights were placed above the fenders in the catwalks and it had no deluxe trim.On State Commanders and State President Eights the headlights were semi integrated in the front fenders with an oblong shaped optic prolonged by a rounded back housing.The Commander Six series 7A is often simply referred as Studebaker Six in the litterature. |
