awww... :(

that sucks. I wonder if that car actually sinks into the water? Or maybe it's stuck there?
Either way, that really blows.

Ya, I egree. Maybe they used a fake like in The Silver Streak at the end of the movie they use a fake, engineless shell for the end destruction instead of the actual train.

I'd say that it is a movie prop, much cheaper than than using a real one :p Especially since if it was really dropped from a plane, it would be crashed, flat on the ground :D

gee can you imagine how many $250,000,00 Lambo's the director had to toss out of airplanes just to get one to stick in the ground, countryside must have littered with them
I'm pretty sure they used a prop, probably a fiberglass shell, carefully placed, filmed and then recovered and listed on E-bay. :D

It was real.

I worked on production, and was eventually able to obtain it and the Ferrari F355C used on the production.

Its lited on the Lamborghini Registry and LamboCars dot Com.

I really hope that it was just the shell of a Diablo, as it would be a really evil thing to do to such a car.

As it went out of the plane backwards and the heavy oily bits are towards the back, the nose would not be the buried end .....
