It has 'jampot' rear shocks so is 1952 or later. It has a small fuel tank, alloy guards and an alloy cylinder barrel so it is a competition model. Here is a similar model http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3104/2558612981_8a4e46095e.jpg?v=0 Compare with the standard Model 16MS http://motorbike-search-engine.co.uk/classic_bikes/1958_ajs_350.jpg - yes it is a later model - which has bigger seat, tank and heavy steel guards and also an iron barrel with smaller black-painted fins. due to the barrel size I think it's a 18, 500cc |
