Up until 1990 or so, there was a well beaten up (and bodily incomplete) Comet lorry still doing a day's work at a scrapyard on the A64 York road, near Seacroft. |

As the 1932 Leyland Tigress FT Pump Escape in 'The Early Bird' /vehicle_23110-Leyland-Tigress-FT-1932.html and a Leyland Comet were also both used in 'Go to Blazes' its more than likely this Comet is 'NNK 294' also /vehicle_785680-Leyland-Comet-1952.html |
