Checking 52-53 De Sotos I think isn't a 53 due '53 Powermaster finished the roof after rear door in a different way. So now my doubt is between '51&'52 (Custom or De Luxe) Club Coupe [S15]. Only a wild guess: the emblem in the front of the hood looks a little larger than '51s so I'm thinkging more in '52. Comments? |

1952 DeSoto Custom Club Coupe ( S-15) on the 125.51/2 inch wheelbase.It has the false airscoop on the hood ( 1951 had the DeSoto head),large coat of arms ( 1951 were smaller) , round rear end ( 1953's were much squarer)and inclined B-pillar ( 1953's were straight).TRim and rear fender gravel guard appear Custom rather than DeLuxe. |
