Yes definitely 1937. I think the reason for no covers on the spare tyre is that the tyre in the well is too wide to fit the cover over. Because the (Series 40)Special was the biggest seller it is most likely to be a Special but other wise I don't think we can be certain. Most Specials didn't have fenderwell spares (sidemounts) but they were an option. |
