From the second smaller photo it can be identified as a 1981 Fleetwood Brougham. Per the wide rocker molding and the V8-6-4 badge on the fender. |

This scene was the reenactment of the murder of Danny "The Brain" Chubb who was shot outside his mother's house at Miller's Point, Sydney on the morning of the 8th November 1984. At the time, Chubb was an major heroin suppler to Neddy Smith and Abo Henry who had been involved in a importation of marijuana and heroin into Sydney and was involved in the Sydney Gangland Wars. On the day of his murder, Chubb got in his Jaguar and drove to the Captain Cook Hotel at Miller's Point where he met up with Smith and Henry and gave them a duffel bag containing packages of heroin, after handing Smith and Henry the duffel bag, Chubb got back in his car and drove to a café and bought a package of fish and chip for his mother's lunch. Chubb then drove to his mother's house and as he was walking from his Jaguar to his mother's house, two gunmen on a motorcycle appeared and shot him. -- Last edit: 2020-05-10 16:24:09 |
