Popular cars here in Ireland, especially as taxis.

I swear the ‘90s had the best looking cars

Rubbish. I cannot begin to list the ways in which that statement is utter bilge. Let me offer just one example to illustrate a car from 40 years earlier that looks better than that featureless blob you cite as your example.

But unchanged in appearance from its 1956 prototype, since the designers obviously could not better the appearance, hence proving my point.

Anything is better than those combat robot vacuum cleaners that are laughably referred to as 'cars' nowadays.

I find it necessary to have a modern car these days, in order to be able to compete in motorway duels and traffic light grands prix otherwise I would not bother. I investigated converting my Bentley to electric power, but the budgetary figure offered made the exercise non-viable. The Mercédès is able to keep up with most modern traffic, it’s the driver who is becoming less competitive as I am now halfway through the sixth decade of holding a license.
