Don't cry, it isn't destroyed, they have just mountes some parts off. I cannot see any broken parts. I guess, after the camera was off, surely they have fixed it again. |

by the way, this version is from the 1969-71, or 1972, when the rear hatch door was redesigned? and this model with side trim, full wheelcovers and vinyl top must be a 1200 GLE |

Maybe it is listed as 1971 because of the license plate? |

The ratio of the originals pics (and the quality of my copy) was very poor (325X...)but, anyway, the car has the old system until 1971 (until oct-6-71): provincial code (leter) and six numbers. The car of the pic is from M (Madrid). In october-6-71 the last plate with old system, it was M-960985. With this system were registered 5.430.761 vehicles. Next day 7 of october began the new system: in Madrid was registered a Renault 4L with plate M-0000-A and in Barcelona a Seat 600 B-0000-A. This system registered 29.865.670 vehicles This system was until september-17-2000 when was registered the last car in Madrid with plate M-6814-ZX. Next day, september-18-2000, began the european system of 4 numbers and 3 letters. The first with this new system was a re-plated old 1981 Mercedes 230-SL and its plate 0000BBB. |
