The wings, half a radiator cover and the engine hood are from a Mercedes-Benz LG 315/46. There the similarities end. The Rest is a GMC CCKW 352. It seems this 'upgrading' of the 'Jimmy' is common in Hollywood: /vehicle_772-GMC-CCKW-353.html "pimp my truck" |

The truck is actually a GMC M-211, not a CCKW. The major give-away is the front bumper with three holes at each end. You can also tell by the fuel tank on the left side (on the CCKW it was on the RIGHT side), and the rear bottom edge of the cab has a slanted cutout which the CCKWs didn't have, and it has the correct doors for a 211. Also, the cab top has the characteristic curved edges. The vehicle has been modified from the firewall forwards but is reasonably straight from the windshield back. |

Yes, that one fits a lot better than the "usual suspect". http://www.olive-drab.com/idphoto/id_photos_m211.php3 |
